Leadership opportunities have been part of Coach Wehry’s life throughout his career.  In college, he led a crew of 90 fellow students and coached high school athletic teams.  It was here Pete began a journey of thirsting for and pursuing leadership.

For the last 35 years, Pete has been part of business teams, ministry teams, athletic teams, and non-profit teams.  In each, Pete held high-level leadership roles.  He has faced numerous obstacles, hurdles, and roadblocks.  He has taken teams from infancy to champions.  He has helped take broken teams, and not only repaired them, but guided and rebuilt the program.

Tackling these challenges and gaining a deeper perspective of people and their needs has allowed him to have greater empathy and effect on those he mentors.  Pete has been honored to support and serve those he works with, and attain not only success but deep significance.

Pete has spoken in almost all 50 states.  He has done workshops and clinics in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Italy.  Coach Wehry has also begun “life coaching” leaders.  Pete has had the privilege to mentor and guide college coaches, NBA coaches, business leaders, and non-profit leadership. He currently serves as a National Director for Nations of Coaches, a non-profit serving Division 1 basketball teams.

Residing in Orlando, FL, Pete and his wife Lisa are blessed with two sons.  Their youngest Drew just graduated from college, and their oldest PJ and their daughter-in-law Becky Sue have blessed Pete and Lisa with two grandsons, Finn and Soren.  At this time they also have the privilege to be fostering their niece Ava.

Pete loves investing in people and plans to do this for the rest of his life!
